Anyone here took a Captains exam before ? Should I expect an in basket similar to my Lieutenant and Sergeant exam? Any differences ?

Im taking the same test as you but I was told a little more math, with little to no roll call changes. Anyone else have no clue what the key inbasket was? I couldnt even start it. The elite and rising star was more typical.

In Basket is more administrative in nature with lots of decision making and math.

Yeah the first in basket. I tried to do it and gave up without completing one question. I dont know what that was. Heard that the Key instructor was even getting confused. Hope there isnt anything like that on the upcoming test. Let me know if you crack it.

Start by identifying crimes by year to date oct 16 to oct 17. Once you do that all else falls into place. Use highlighter to focus in on the dates.

Is anyone using the Rising Star technique of doing the inbasket? Just wondering how people felt about it who have used other class methods in the past.
