@ Paul Benedict, Did that rumor come from "the key?" If so, then it's most likely another publicity stunt for their $800 sub par captain's course and I wouldn't take it very seriously...

That info actually came from a Lt in this past Sunday's Captains class. But the Key did say back in February that the Lt exam date would be changed to August 23rd and they were correct. They also said that all remaining people on the current Sgt list will be promoted in time for the Lt exam and that seems to be correct as well. They also mentioned that a Conflict of Interest Board ruling came down prohibiting all ACTIVE MOS from being involved in promotional schools (lets see if they are correct with this one.)

Is our cut off date June 30th ? If they postpone our exam can they extend our cut off date ?

Did anybody hear recently about the test being pushed back ?

Last week, someone mentioned to me that the test was pushed back to November. He seemed sure about it but wouldn't say where he heard it

Rising Star email last night saying it is anticipated test will be pushed back to November - possibly DECEMBER!! Icould deal with November. December is frustrating

It will likely be Nov 29 now. Hopefully Dcas makes the announcement soon.
