I can't see them doing August. It's too close to the start of the school year and the teachers/staff usually have their orientation around this time. Plus August is UNGA and US Open. I would think July, right after the 4th would be perfect. Not much going on...

Unga is in sept and the job doesn't care about teacher orientation. They have to give us 6 month notice before any exam so I think august it is

I'm pretty sure by now you should know that DCAS and "the job" doesn't care and can do whatever they want so they don't HAVE to give you a 6 month notice. And if you want to get technical, they gave us advance notice by sending us the finest stating an exam will be in JULY/AUGUST. I'm preparing as if the exam will be the 2nd week of July and if not I'll just have extra weeks to study.

I know that the 2017 Sgt exam date fiasco was a mess, but the final date of Feb 22, 2017 wasn't announced until October 26, 2016. That's only 4 MONTHS before the test. That's crazy. Hopefully that doesn't happen to us.
It's gunna be a howt one oohhhh lawdyyy
