hearing two people in the top 20 have been bounced from their assignment on orders from Resnick himself. Guys are saying more to follow...
Its clear the job is taking this seriously. Question is, how far? Do all makeup test takers get passed over? Just those with logs dropped on them? Or does the test get tossed. we can be sure that one of these three possibilities will happen...

They will get promoted...it may just take some time because IAB is investigating its own members...but IAB can not Prove or Disprove if these people (and any others who took the make-up exam) actually cheated...their cases will eventually be found "Unsubstantiated" and everyone will get promoted to a White Shirt. This is just how the JOB works...it has been like this for years and years (long before we were even born). Hopefully this type of scandals will change future test formats...

They don't have to go after everybody. They only need the low hanging fruit who made it easy for them. Quite a few scammers acted with impunity. Why not? No one ever held them accountable before and they had no reason to believe anyone ever would. A lack of accountability tends to make people complacent, reckless and, in extreme cases, even entitled.
Once these jokers were in the jackpot they gave up others . . . who will, in turn, give up others . . . and so on. This is the way it always goes down. It sucks for them!
Truth be told, I'd much rather see the exam process reformed than see cops get jammed up. 'Game Over' should be declared and steps should be taken to ensure it never happens again. People are going down. The die is cast. However, collecting scalps without changing the system will simply make the cheaters more careful and discreet going forward.
So long as there are make up exams consisting of the same questions, this will happen. Make ups will never go away but, if it steps were taken to reduce them to the bare, legitimate minimum most of us would be satisfied.

I totally agreed with DOA..."we can't hate the PLAYERS, we can only hate the GAME"...if the GAME it self does not change for the better, there will always be people out there that will exploit its loopholes and weaknesses...

hopefully they hold them and promote all the people that actually pass the exam first. But in the end they will promote all of them

I am going to start thumb thru the patrol guide just so I can be ahead of the game when the announcement comes down.

Exactly, instead of fvcking with cops for something that has been allowed for ages, change the system and let them know it's over.
It's like the summons BS, instead of going after people with Department, and sometimes criminal, charges they should have made an announcement that it was over and the system was going to change from this point forward. It's not right to bring the hammer down on a guy for following the status quo, the system must be reformed to prevent such things in the future.
