I went on yesterday. You'll be interviewing your peers and giving a speech about them. Kind of reminds me of Speech class in college.

It's so that you can be prepared for public speaking, ie: Roll Call. They are just "prepping" you to become a Sgt. I thought we were just going to sit there and hear speeches all day but it ended up being much more interactive. They even give you HW (Phase 2) that I don't think most cops will be doing. It's a nice day off of patrol to be honest.

It was informative...but sucked when they confirmed no march class....but they said they are holding for 58-70 per class next classes in bmoc.

OMG. are you guys for real???????????????????????????? aprox 150 candidates have already attended this training about 3 months ago, and all topics regarding this training have already been previously covered by the group that went there on the last week of February. you guys are sounding so pathetic, this training doesn't mean sh!t, because actual BMOC is phase 3, which they will tell you right at the beginning of the class. I guess you could still say it is a fun day and a day to stay off patrol.

My partner is at phase one today and according to the instructor, next month will be another down month. I hope he was joking but i highly doubt that he is.Trust me i want to get made and move on as iam sure some of you would like to get promoted as well. i didnt want to believe it but that was the info that was passed on to me. Don't kill the messenger, If someone was at phase one can you please confirmed, because that was what i was told.

Going on Thursday will ask again this sucks with all of these down month usually they have like 3 down months in a year. Idk if they are gonna promote for the remainder would be nice but I doubt it. Let's hope for big classes in the future

Yeah sorry for the bad news that was the first thing they told us only about 40 lt. But he is hopeful things will pick up for the rest of the year
