It is with much regret that the Police Academys Sergeant / Lieutenant / Captains on-line course assignments have been taken from me and will be reassigned to someone else (unknown who at this time). The roll-out of material should still remain scheduled for May, but I am no longer involved in the process.
I would like to take this opportunity to reach out to all of my people here on Rising Star. This little venture of mine started 9 years ago when I was tasked with the job of creating a course for only the sergeant exam. Years later that course would grow to include all the testable ranks. The course was created to provide FREE tutorial material for members of the Department.
I joined Rising Star over 10 years ago never knowing the enormous reach it would turn out to have. My alter-egos popularity was never intentional. My only intention was to take the opportunity to share information that I was able to collect from my numerous hooks. I know what its like to try and plan your life around exams and promotions. So information I received, I shared.
With the fact that I will no longer be writing the material, nor do have I any hooks left for timely information (they all since retired), I will not be in the loop as much as I have been. I will always post information that I may learn in an effort to continually do my best to keep you up to date.
I want to thank you all for your support. I have met quite a few of you and you have always been very appreciative and gracious. For many more of you, I have had the pleasure of meeting here on Rising Star. Knowing that I was helping many of you helped me get through the very daunting process of keeping this course alive.
Good luck in your studies and remember, give yourself that raise you deserve by studying and getting promoted. I wish you all well and thank you for a fulfilling 9 years.

What a great loss for the test takers! I'm hoping you move on to something more enriching.
