I want to thank Bigfoot for the gentleman that he is for allowing me my last words. I got the breakdown of the numbers that truly nauseated me. For those of you with the lawsuit---ask for a FOIL of the info--this is public record once list is released. My source will not be involved with this. So we know the meat---2601 sat for original exam---128 passers. 120 makeups sat---76 passed. So it was a total of 204 out of 2721. Out of the 76 makeup passers---62 have taken the makeup twice--for both Sgt. & Lt. Out of the top 50---27 are makeups. The other 39 are sprinkled throughout. Out of the top 10---7 were makeups. A huge congrats to the elite 128---you passed the hardest exam this job has ever given. To the 76 makeups---I know your peers and even subordinates who you slighted will deal with you the correct way. I urge all to take the next Lt exam----they are saying either February or April of 2017. The wheels have already begun to turn on that. Im out. Out of this forum, and out of this exam game. Good luck to all.

The elite 128? Not so fast... People here seem to be forgetting that out of those 128 maybe 28 where doing actual patrol, the rest are IAB, 1PP and sweet gigs inside... I say elite of approx 28 Sgts actually made it against the odds... Those are the ones that ought to be congratulated.... F everyone else, yes, I'm a sored loser.
Will now start rehab for the next round in 2017. Stay safe people.

I was on patrol as well and passed. I think it's much more than 28.

Not really many on patrol, trust me. You can look it up. And 28 is a rough estimate of course.

I wasn't on patrol, but at least I didn't cheat by taking it later.
Congrats to those who passed while on patrol, that is a rare and impressive accomplishment on this test. Everyone I know who passed out of a command was in a hook house, so if you were somewhere busy even more kudos.

Patrol sqd sgt here. Working in the pct doesnt mean you are on patrol. Precincts have inside gigs that a very similar to a detail that allows much more flexibility. And being in the busy house sometimes can play in your favor due to a much greater man power that is allocated to a busy precinct Vs a slow one. For example, on any given tour in 67 pct you might have 3sgts plus a Lt where in 68 u have only 2 sgt thus making an attempt to split up the tour that more difficult
