New contract provisions and impact upon retirements

i hope so. but I could also see older guys staying longer to make cash overtime and increase their pensions.

I honestly don't think it will effect many. Especially when you have to use the time accrued in a quarter that you exchange for the cash for that quarter. If you could exchange banked time it would have been real enticing. It still can effect you pension especially if you time it with the yearly raises the next few years though.

The exodus will be around October 2019 (12-months after the 3% raise). You might see a lot of captains and above retiring, then coming to work their final year to get overtime that they can sell back and night diff.

Contract was ratified 366-131.
I wish they'd publish the names of the 131 one way pricks who voted no.

Probably guys who are in the rank five years who already have 8 hour tours. Sour grapes probably thinking we did it for five years and these guys get it after one.

Lots of miserable old pricks in the executive range. This is the reason XOs don't have true take home cars. "I didn't get that perk when I started out, why should they?"
