EVERY sgt i have spoken to has told me the same thing, they dont think they passed, they think they bombed, or they are just praying to pass. Everyone! on rising star, studiers, not so much studiers. So to me, the grades on the key should reflect what we are seeing. Ofcourse, ppl dont want to say I pass and then find out they failed and be devestated. Me being included in this category. TO ME, the grades are reflecting what we are seeing on these keys, high 60's and low 70's really being the average. I dont KNOW anyone with higher then a 82 as of right now. That to me indicates this key should give you decent picture of where we stand on answer day. Anyone see my philosophy as being flawed?

Yes i agree. Im not a mathematician or even close for that matter, but you have alot of guys that know their stuff. Enough to get a accurate key. Its not like we had a FDNY promotional exam in front of us and then made a spreadsheet after the test.

The key def. reflects the mood and the test that i saw this saturday. With that being said, i Really feel as though anyone from a 63 or 64 is in the game and can still pass this thing. 50's, sorry but i dont see it being that off. With that being said, i think 78 or 79 can even still fail this thing as well. Toughest part is figuring out the tricks, or IF THERE WERE NO TRICKS AT all but we may think were tricks.

Thanks for correctly calling this for what it is: a guide/indicator AND NOT A BIBLE.

exactly what it is....this GUIDE can be 8 off for all we know. But it does two things, it tells you just how riduculous this test was. You got guys going from 90's on sgt test to barely passing! But it should tell you whether youre still in the game on the guys on the cusp with my high 60's, you're in the game! so lets fight this together and be smart about our protests. The review board is a crap shoot from what i hear, but all we need is ONE LT that will say woah wait a minute, these ops orders no good. So, stop the nonsense with the media, the media could give two craps about us, except ofcourse when it fits a certain agenda. Like the streets, were in this alone and we can defeat some questions on this test. The PG is too ambiguous not to find something in there to help acouple ppl out with throw outs.

It looks like a lot of people are in the 65-75 range. I personally think if your in that range you should be just fine. In order for this list to be made with a good number of people they have to make the harder questions research questions. The people that studied the 6-8 hours a day will be rewarded for there time. Personally I am below that range studied 3-4 hours a day more on days off. My biggest mistake was being guided by the classes I attended. Focusing on what was historically tested and straight forward in baskets.
