november 25 promotions of 10 captains and 32 lieutenants.......classes start nov 26

That's great news, thanks Brat!. I'm getting closer and closer ; Brat is there a push by the administration right now to promote at a faster rate to exhaust the 2011 list more quickly?. Also if that is the case are they going to "over promote"?, I ask because it seems like 32 Lieutentants and the end of the month would cause a greater overage than usual. 

Thanks brat. Any idea when telephone notifications will come down to get pictures?

I am unaware of any change of the process due to the new administration ........ I don't forsee there would be........I dont usually have knowledge of the phone notifications

For Lt's it's 2 weeks. Hopefully they will put in another class right before Christmas. Usually there is a Thanksgiving and Christmas promotion. But everything is so unpredictable. Keeping my fingers crossed for end of December. I will be in that class.

 Yeah im hoping by them breaking the trend of putting a class in in the beginning of the month means they will put another in december

Brat, what's your guess on a Christmas class?

I often find back to back lt or capt classes to be rare

We will only be roughly at -6 by december based on the above vacancy #'s, so unless theres a big captain class which there is no chance of, there wont be a class till Jan at the earliest

Did anyone get the  call to take pictures yet?

Depressing when you're so damn close. Hopefully we get a lot of pending terminals in jan. Anyone know if Jan 1995 was a big class?

 Last I heard, it got to at least 516.

I was told still 11/25, from the Uniform Promotion Unit, when I went to have my picture taken today. I was told the Finest should come down on Friday. Fingers crossed.
