hearing end of april for lt test from 2 different sources. Pretty decent sources who would be in the know for the information. By no means is this a certainty and i dont want to play the speculation game. But may be a glimmer of hope for all those out there wanting something to hope for!

Ok so the past Lts exam were given in 2006 and 2011.. So far everything indicates that there will be a test on the 1st 1/4 of next year...
-Is there a way to know how many current Lt's will be eligible for retirement during the next 4-5 years?
-Which combination of schools would be a good one?

I didnt realize the last two LT test had a 5 year gap between them. So the 06 test was cut and there were no eligible LT until almost year later when the 11 list was released ?
Interesting.

The test was cut because of the hiring and promotion slowdown caused by economic recession of 2008. The list was not technically "cut" but the 4 year list limitation had expired therefore those left "died" on the list, so to speak.
