The following question numbers for test session one were aggressively protested by myself or my colleagues. They are separated into two categoriels: the first being protests that are quite convincing as doubles or complete throw outs, the second category, while protestable may not be as convincing.
Convincing: 10 double, 11 double, 12 no clear answer, 37 double, 41 not in NOE, 54 no clear answer, 58 multiple mistakes in question, 61 key has incorrect answer, 65 not relevant question, 78 major mistake with procedure number, 80 not in NOE, 86 missing words/no answer, 87 only "correct" answer completely incorrect, 93 correct answer invalid
to make many of these protests convincing one must pay particular attention to why one choice is better or equal to theirs, additionally, one must pay attention to missing words, misspelled words, improper words, parts of procedures which were corrupted or paraphrased and not in conformance with what the patrol or admin guide says. This exam was written so poorly it's unbelievable. Somehow whoever proofread these questions missed more than the individuals originally writing it. If you have a question about a particular protest question email me frankjurs@aol.com

please remember, if a word or words are absent from a statement or the statement is otherwise invalid and this is the correct choice, the whole question is potentially invalid.

Pay careful attention to the exact wording of the patrol guide and the exact wording of the keys answer. You will find many many examples, I found 5.
Where the "correct" choice was not the correct wording. After reading the test again I can truely say this one was more poorly written then the infamous 2011 Lt exam. Stay the full 6hours READ EVERY QUESTION you got wrong. You will be glad you did.

Question 42 and Question 48 were double answers because of mistakes in the wording on some choices. Question 3 can be a double answer because of the addition of one potential actor along with the primary actors. Question 78 and 80 referenced the wrong procedure numbers. It is hard to post more numbers without giving away questioned information. Question 85 could be thrown out because the fact pattern didn't say where the female was arrested and there was no single answer indicating only the male was correct. Question 59 could be a double answer because the fact pattern didn't identify the perp or victim and the choice they say is correct is a misinterpretation of the patrol guide.

J-Man i was hoping you could begin posting the question number of the protested questions
ex- question 42-p.o wilson turned into p.o williams=strong possibilty of throw out
ex- question 99- admin guide procedure where they left out the word man from manpower.
Dont post the exact question just the identifying feature so a guy like lew bookman (69) can see if he got that point.
Let the people make their own conclusion if it will be thrown out. Some say the penal law question will and others wont. Just post the information.
Also we need stiggity1 back, i think all that talk about you and Gunz in a Long Island showdown scared him away. Stiggity1 is a subject matter expert when it comes to how the t.v.b works. Like his sense of humor or not you must admit he is the expert. I believe he said he even sat on the board for a prior sgt exam as a subject matter expert and knows how it works.

How the TVB works is the Department (Testing and Research to be exact) picks a Captain and the Captain's Union picks a Captain and they go through all the protests and have to convince the member for the DCAS testing department that a protest makes a valid point and it is up to the DCAS member whether the question is a throw out, double or triple answer. If the 2 Captains on the TVB do not fight then there is no chance of them changing an answer.
