I can tell you this Bill Bratton is tight with Chief Jim O'Neil who is aces. I don't know Chief O'Neil at all but a lot of people I work with did and he is exactly what you want as a High Ranking Chief in this department. One Police Plaza needs a major overhaul with upper echelon of the department. The likes of Jaffe, Campisi, Pulaski all need to get lost. They are far from innovative and are bullies who hide behind their rank. They have been in position of power far too long and do not have the respect with anyone underneath them which a mark of a good leader. I am so sick of the vindictiveness that goes on with these clowns. I love that these morons are nervous about where they stand in 1PP pecking order. Because Bratton has no problem demoting them back to Captain. Which forces them to leave woooooo!

Rumor has it Banks will be commissioner of Corrections. I don't know a soul at 1PP just what I am hearing from people in the know.

Bottom line is... R we getting a good raise and is the job going to grow a spine.

I heard banks may go to Atlanta and be PC there.

The raise/retro issue - in my office they were saying we should look at what happens with the teachers contract which is up before us. We would most likely mirror that since it's a city issue not an nypd one.

Gotta love pattern bargaining. Where a teacher a cop, firefighter, and garbage man can all make the same money. Only in NYC.
