Ok, not to be a douchebag... But if this class happened I would be in it, no matter how small it was. But with the change of admin at that point, I honestly see them taking a few months off after Nov. There will be December promotions, but I think the will all be discretionary.

Yes me to I'm list number 94# and finally my time has come , I'm looking for a change of environment and just hope to get promoted before I hit top pay in January. I hear so much about the pay cut cops at top pay experience after getting promoted.

The mayor has no concern over promotional classes. To think a new mayor will come in and say put a halt on all NYPD promotions, is actually ridiculous. The Dept runs it self at this point and our promotional classes will be the least of the mayor's concerns. I'm still sticking with my original assumption that this List will be done by December 2014.

Can't remember him saying 1500, he said somewhere towards the end, which could mean 12xx, 13xx who knows maybe even 16xx fingers crossed hopefully the entire list gets made
