The Key sent an email out that stated he will not be leaving the Key but the current class schedule might have some minor changes to it in regards to times/days of class....so that's good news

The Key is really dropping the ball. The instructor did not show up for class tonight. They just don't care. Such a disgrace since Chief Shea left.

Wow. That is pretty ridiculous considering how much the classes cost. I know what school I won't be using when it's my turn to study for Captain.

The Key has been abysmal.
One week they handed out the Sergeants study packet with the Captains class coversheet. They let us go the entire week without letting us know of the error. Then at the next weeks class simply said Ooops and come to the front of the class for the real packet.
Another week Shea Jr never showed.
Oh and this one time (no not at band camp) The instructor was teaching us from the wrong packet. Probably from Port Authority PD or some ish. Un freagin real

In his defense, he is an Inspector in the Deputy Commissioner of Operations office. He got caught up on something and could not make it. I dont think it has ever happened before. It is not good but I think it unfair to say "they just dont care."

Crams suck azz-hole anyway. 6-8 hours of the most obvious bull****. For anyone that's been actually studying, they're a waste of time. Your time would be a lot better spent sitting at home reading 212

Yeah, I agree. Crams are a waste of time for the most basic info that if you were studying all along you should know.
I'm glad for Chief Shea...seems like a gentleman. Sucks for a lot of people that are studying...his class is excellent...
