Taken from DCAS' website. Tentative, of course, but no NOE or date yet other than a filing period for February.

Filing period in February, so possibly looking at an August 2013 exam?

The DCAS site says all those exams listed are "tentatively scheduled from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013"...so one would guess on that day or before (6/30)

Guess I'll have to take that one since I think I will end up dying on this list, not because I think the list will be cut but because I think I'll still be under a whole lot of crap next year.

No inaccurate. They waited for 2008 to be fully exhausted before activating the 09 list. Give only examples since passing grades were implemented. Outdated practices do not apply. How long small lists take to exhaust means nothing. How long did it take to promote the 2200 sgt's on the 2001 list?

Im in the early 920s so whether they kill this list or BURN THIS LIST...I feel safe. For everyones sake lets hope this means the City is going to burn thru this list.

This would be consistent with what DCAS has done in the past, attempt to establish multiple lists. The problem is when they do this they tend to stop promoting on one before the 4 years expire and promote off the newer one. Sgt's lists only take at least months to establish historically, but the 2003 exam took 15 months (lawsuit held it up before a judge tossed the suit and the list was established) the 2006 exam took 10 months, the 2007 exam took 12 months, 2008 exam took 8 months, I am having a hard time remembering how long the 2009 exam took?
The 2011 exam took 6 months to establish a list...

They didn't promote 2200 Sgt's in any single list in my career. Not even close, I think they got as high as 1500 on one list though...

If DCAS Is posting tentative test dates then there has to be some talk at puzzle palace. Anyone hear anything at Bmoc or uniform promotion?? Anyone? Brat?

Brat already posted there's no way this list is getting cut. How many more times does she need to confirm it.

At this rate, I predict a new LT Exam by early to mid 2014. The current list is flying so I would think having multiple lists out for the LT Exam as well would make sense. Either ways boys and girls, grab your helmets and your crayons and start studying hard. By the time the new Lt list comes out in late 2014, the current list should be at least 75% done...
