Be guided by the vacancy numbers currently at 33 with 49 on terminal.

I'll keep you guys updated on the vacancy numbers. The other site posts them up weekly as well (therumormill.activeboard.com).

Taking into account the Sergeants getting the money and those without enough time in rank, what number do you think they will get up to for the July class?

Probably in the 80's.

Joker, I dont understand what you mean. What does Sgts getting the money have anything to do with Lt. promotions?

if you have a Sgt who gets the money and they are in a deatil with OT and are in their retirement years/ going to reitre, chances are they would pass on the promotion to Lt because they would loss money in the long run. With that being said i can't imagine that effecting more than a handful of people on this list.

As posted on the other forum-----"As of today. We are -22 lieutenants with 30 on terminal". I'll venture to guess the next Lt's class will get promoted with the current sgt group that just went in. Promotion is scheduled for the end of this month.

I can see another class of at least 30 going in next promotion.

I would also look at the guys who filed last year for terminal and came back. The strategy is usually to use the year they return to get as much OT as possible before they really retire. So we would see a few of those guys create some vacancies as well.
