In the 90's is the number that passed. Don't think there will be more than two changes, if any.

Many said the same thing for this last lieutenants exam but it turned out to be 20 changes so we'll see.

I personally don't see more than 5 changes...if that even...test was well written and questions were rather clear. Does anyone know yet what the official # is yet...keep hearing 63 or 98.

Thx OnPoint...that's what I thought. So then with 61 remaining on the current Captains list, they will hopefully start promoting from the NEW list by February.

What will they do ? If the number is in fact below 100 then they will end up giving a captains test every 6 months, almost like the walk in police test

they'll probably do what they did with the last one.......they're throw some out to make a list that will run about 2 years......the current list of 128 is taking some time (approx 2 yrs).........these captains lists dont run their course like a sgts list

I hope they get through this list quickly. Are there any vacancies for Capts now? Anyone?

There are only about 450 captains and above on the job... and many stay well past 20 years. A list of 100 names can go for 18 to 24 months.
Thinking December?
