So I just went through the start of the thread for the 2009 test and saw striking similarites in unfounded rumors and and "confirmed" numbers and dates from "reliable" sources. The thing that struck me though was that their list was not established until March 20, 2010, after taking the test in Feb 2009. Anyone know why this took so long? Did they wait until the previous list was exhausted? Just curious, because I was paying no attention last time around.

Because of the economy they stopped hiring and weren't promoting quickly. No body was retiring because there was no work. Also the 08 list was still active.

So if history is any guide we're looking at 8-13 months to establish a list plus 3 months to start promoting. Obviously, it's just reading tea leaves, but that would put us with a list mid-summer and first promotions in the late fall. No hooks or sources here, just trying to see if any patterns have been established based on fact.

except there arent many names left on the 09 list. I would think our list will be out sooner than later

It all depends how many people are left on the active list. When they took 09 test I believe there was more than half of 08 list still remaining, you can find more precise timing if u dig alittle on 08 forum.
