there must be an incredible amount of people in the 60's and what will the list look like if people pick up 7-15 questions like the captains test.

Only 240 got between a 70 and whatever the high score was- 86 or so?? So 240 in that range, isnt it appropriate to think there is less people than 240 in the span of 60-70 which would still keep it a smaller list??

If everybody in the 60's some how get enough throw outs and pass will probably double the list at best. Maybe just a tad more then double imo. Not a huge list by anymeans.

I know at least 3 people that failed in the 60s for every person that I know who passed. It would not surprise me if between 1000 and 1500 people scored 60 and up. Feel free to call me any names you want but if you survey command and your friend's commands most people that took the test failed and scored 60-69.

all depends how many are thrown out, if its just 3-7 , list will prolly double but not much more than that.

can you please expand on your sources for the range of people between 65-69. Also, what's the range of people from 60-64 then? Simple math of both ranges will give a finite number of people have a chance after the throw outs.

I was thinking along the same lines. Think of it as a pyramid. If there are 250 between 70 to 100. What is the breakdown between 65 to 69, 60-64 and so on? My "sources" haha, seem to indicate, like in my own command that there are 1-2 people that past, there are 3-5 people in the 65-69 range and the rest AND the most are in the 50s and low 60s.

I concur with the same. Most of the people I spoke to as well are ranging in the 50's to low 60's.

There's no way it's only 100 from 65-69. My Cmd had atleast 5 @ 67-69

sorry btkx15 that is the amount, its not as many as u think, more are 60-64

If only 114 are in the 65-69 range thats actually a good thing for all those who scored in the 60's. It means more throwouts!

nycop80, can your source get the amount of people from 60-64?

There is no way that this list will grow to 1000-1500 after throwouts/doubles. I agree, there are many with a score somewhere in the 60's. However, that is not the AVERAGE. Many are ashamed to say they scored in the 50's. I still believe the list will grow to about 600-700 after the adjustments are made.

based on the information provided in the chat room. if in fact there are about (114) between 65-69, i would say its safe to say there are (300-400) between 60-65...
that would make a list of 664-764 that scored 60+... does this sound about right?

someone should start a pool to tally up 60+ to see what kind of list they may be looking at if there are in fact a bunch of throwouts/double answers
congrats to the 70+...

I went to the SBA luncheon today and heard some news. I dont know how true it is but supposedly they are throwing out 7 questions. The list will be in the 500 person range when they throw out that many.
