IF you followed in basket correctly, you would have been arrived at an answer which gave PO Williamson off. Now, in question 13 you need to select a po to go to the hospital for prisoner relief. If i remember correctly, one guy was limited, and 2 were not there. This left Williamson as an answer. However, how is this possible, when you just approved Williamson to get an eday in question 10. They will probably have to throw both of these questions out or do something with them. Definite protest. This is why many people got either question 10 or 13 wrong. IF you followed how to do an in basket properly there is no way to get those questions both correct.

I had to mail in my protests, so I didn't get to look at the exam again. If what you are saying is accurate, I would imagine they would throw out number 13. If you followed the in-basket correctly, number 10 would have been completely legitimate and wouldn't have been impacted by any test writing screw ups. Number 13; however, would have been completely impacted and wouldn't have a good choice.
If the argument is that people went back and changed number 10 based on question 13, I doubt DCAS would budge on that due to the rest of the exam.
I still think 1 in-basket, 3 patrol guide and 2-4 judgement question are going to be thrown out / double answers.

If you use all of the items in the in basket you could successfully argue against question #10. Choice C the last officer-Hissain was on item BB that stated he only had one day on the books and he could not be approved for lost time or a vacation day without approval of the Commanding Officer. As per the Roll Call I believe item M, the C.O. is working therefore the Lt. could have requested permission from the C.O. to grant Hissain the day off.
Choice B all three officers were in a sector. There was a minimum manning of six sectors for the third platoon as per a 49 (forgot the item number, maybe G) which stated these minimum manning levels will be strictly adhered to. By granting all three officers assigned to sectors the day off it severely impacted patrol strength.
Addditionally, argue the fact that Williamson is the last officer in Choice B and is being sent to the hospital in question #13. How can he be given an Eday in question 10 and sent to the hospital in question 13?

Considering your position as a respected authority on this forum you should probably refrain from making statements like "it will be thrown out". People might get the wrong idea and think that because you are a moderator, you know what you are talking about and that is obviously not the case. You are just speculating like everybody else.

I never said 100% question 10 or 13 is thrown out. An in basket is a real time exercise. If you give a Po an Eday in one question , You can not choose him to go to the hospital in a later question . But you can think what you want . Yes you are right , it is not definite and I apologize if I made it appear that way.

All inbasket's are real time exercises that's why you're instructed to complete it in sequence because a question my affect the next. If the officer is provided an e-day in question 10 there's no way he can be the correct answer choice in question 13 because he isn't present for duty on the 3rd platoon. Both questions should be thrown out but unknown if that's what DCAS will do.

You're making assumptions about the rules of the exercise based on historical practice and the rules presented by the schools. Each of the questions were stand alone. This in-basket gave you no specific role or duty to assume throughout the exercise and thus could they justify 3 roll calls.

Ok we will see when final answer key comes out. There is a certain way to do an in basket. You are just saying this because you got it right and do not want other people to get the point. Bottom line you approve someone for an Eday means they are not there. You take them off the roll call . They can not be chosen later if they are not present. Sorry but this is not a standalone question.

Yes it was luck. I wasnt sure what Williamson was correct number 10 0r 13. Instead of changing the wrong one i figured i would keep them both and at least get one right.

I think that you really had a very lucky Saturday and did well in the test but I think you are right. There may be 5 (double/throw-outs) questions. More than 5 will be a miracle. ***** Don't compare with last Captain's test!

I went to the protest on friday and a lot of the patrol guide questions that i thought would b throwouts were actually good questions. They were just very tricky and poorly written

Negative.. If i was traitor i would not have went to the protest session. I went because that test was the worst test in the history of the police dept and i have friends who studied very hard yet they failed the test.

The real traitors r the garbage sgts who swore they would protest scored a 75 and decided they no longer need to go to the protest. Or how about the other garbage sgts who swore they would never take another test scored a 75 and now they want to take the capt test in may. Those r the traitors.
