2 nights ago, I was chit chatting with someone and a representive from Rising Star believes there are 7 questions which should be thrown out.
Also 241 is the confirmed #.

7 is an extremely possible and probable #. I would wager that # moving more towards 10.

10 is a lot, I know they got more on the Captain's exam, but I think they were trying to fill a skeleton list too. If the 241 passing is correct, they really don't need to fill a list, but give a test in 2 years instead. So I think there will be a few throwouts/doubles/even triples? But I don't think DCAS or the dept has any motivation to give us anything. Have to go there and fight tooth and nail for it.

Some will not be that hard to fight, just have the proper documentation to fight.

I agree, we're not getting anything for free. I just came from DCAS and this exam seems to be the talk of the hour. I think we have a lot of good things on our side, and I have a great deal of faith and respect for my fellow Sgt's that are going to attend these protest sessions. We've been wronged by an unfair test and the only light at the end of the tunnel is the victory in taking apart these poorly written questions. Good luck to all. I'll be attending my sessions on Friday.

All jokes aside, how is it unfair if we all took the same test and some Sergeants scored well into the 80s?

Some took it way after everyone else with enough info to help them score "well into the 80's". Dude, get over yourself, I know people that scored in the 80's ad even they agree it was a ridiculous test. People studied for 8 months and didn't even get a passing score. I'll make sure I schedule a minor surgery the day before the next exam too...

I agree that the test was ridiculous. I just think it was equally ridiculous for all of us and therefore fair.
