Am I the only one who thinks the Eday question is a throw out. The pg says the CO sets the criteria for granting Edays. The CO said no Edays if on the list for any reason. Although I felt for the cop there were instructions to follow. No one seems to be focusing on that as a throw out.

Commanding officers will ensure that supervisors are aware of the command's criteria for the granting of E-Days. This includes, but is not limited to, the reason for requested excusal, number of emergency day requests made by the member, and the operational impact on the command.......additional data statement.

Pg also states the desk officer has final say on edays... Should be thrown out either way though

Are you sure it was 10? I picked the "see if some other family member can take the kid" answer but I got number 10 right.
@nextLtTest. You beat me by 61 seconds. Lol

It was. The Eday for the cop with the sick newborn was definitely a judgment question.

You sure it wasn't in-basket. I distinctly remember not giving the e-day because of the c.o. Memo in packet of info.

There was an eday question in the inbasket, but the cop calling the new LT on the desk asking for a an eday due to the fact that he needed to bring his newborn to the hospital for a high fever was definitely a judgment question.

The answer choices for the eday judgment question were something like:
A) give him the day
B) tell him to see if he can get a family member to take the baby
C) call another Lt who is off duty and ask his opinion
D) tell him to call the midnight desk officer
These are not in the correct order, of course.

No. It was an in-basket ques for sure. I remember flipping the pages to see if he was on the list and what "criteria" the C.O. set.

Dude, there were two eday questions. The one with the sick newborn had the Lt on the desk glance down at the Finest message that said no excusals for the next 6 tours.

There was an in basket question that dealt with e-day. There was a memo from C.O that stated whoever was granted 3 days previously was not elgible. You also had to check to see if he had any time on the books and if excessive e-days were granted. I just don't remember what question number it was.

I think it also stated that a finest message was at the desk from a cheif or patrol or department stating that there is no excusals for that day. According with PG 203 you have to comply with higher authority. After all it is a pra-military organization.

The e-day question was in the judgement section. Its also not the first time they asked a judgement question like this. That is why the key went over this exact scenario in class

There was reference material with that question. It was not in the judgement section. If it were a straight up question who would get it wrong? Why not give the guy the Eday? Nothing about this test was like past test.

I don't think they were looking for that. In real life, YES but in fantasy test day, I think you would have the cop call the midnight boss. I also got it wrong.

89 was the question with the eday? I got it wrong too. Like I said before, if the cookie monster is your C.O. then if he says no edays, than no Edays. I go against his memo and I get a CD and have three days taken away from me. There is no judgement here. I will fight that till the death, based solely on the whole concept of I would have gotten murdered when I was assigned to his command. Give me a break, this question is bull.
