I just came back from DCAS I asked all the questions I can think of regarding the protest review session.
I DID NOT SPEAK TO THE PERSON ON THE WINDOW; I spoke to a supervisor who confirmed any question I had with his supervisor.
This is what I got.
1.You can bring the supporting evidence to substantiate your protest. INCLUDING the Fast Track Total Guide.. as long as you can also state what section in the patrol guide its from
2.You can NOT bring and hand written material. You can bring in something type written, like your prepped protest.
3.They will have three locations for the sessions. I was told my session will be on December 2nd at 210 juraloman street in Brooklyn. From 9am- 3pm
4.After the session you can still send in your protest by mail. And attach supporting evidence to substantiate your protest; YOU MUST indicate the question #.
5.By MAIL you have until the 28th of December to have it post marked
6.As per the Judgment questions he said they did not use any book as a reference, this all came from the LTs that made up the test.
7.They will have a copy machine to make copies of material to attach to the protest.
9.MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE QUESTION # he said that is very important.
So like Ive been saying lets all try to protest most of the same questions and help each other properly write it out. (Remember you can bring in typed info. But you will have to rewrite it when you get there.)
If anyone what the name and # of the person who can confirm this for you, or if you have any other questions PM me.
GOOD LUCK GUYS

If the judgement questions did not come from any particular book or memo and was the opinion of the lieutenants that wrote the test then every judgement question should be thrown out as a matter of opinion. Just because three or four jackasses believe the situation should be handled one way doesn't make it correct or mandatory.

Excellent post Area1 !! I am definitely bringing my total guide and now that I know I can have my protest typed beforehand and all I have to do is transfer it to the "DCAS Protest Sheet"will make a huge difference. It will save time, thus allowing for us to protest more questions.
To all the doubters about protesting...yesterday was proof that there is strength in numbers. We all worked together and by doing so had the answer key released a week earlier. We exposed DCAS for what they really are and must continue exposing them with our protests.
NEVER GIVE UP!!!

They didn't site any references either when these questions was asked. I have 10 questions wrong from question 70-100. I only need 4 points to make the list. I'll split the cost with anyone who wants to hire an attorney who will contest validity of this judgement questions. I'm in contact with several guys on this board, so if anyone is interested p.m me.

Amen to that! Any chance we can find written proof that the answers are based on opinion?

Im no detective, just a sergeant who maybe staying a sergeant for a while, but this guy staystrong is def one of the test writers. All he has done is stick up for them. Whats the matter Lieu? Guilty conscience? Ego cant let you admit that you wrote a bogus test. Screwed over hundreds of men and women who bust their ass everyday, made time to study, sacrifice time, money, and family. We deserved better. A fair shot.

True. The tests were easier back than, the patrol guide was a half a size smaller. There was no 70% to pass the test, some have been made with 55%.
