plenty of hope, this sheet may be nowhere near the actual relased answer key, if lower than a sixty, then you are going to need a lot of luck your side

The simple fact is with the amount of time invested NO ONE should be hoping for a 70. You deserve better from this department to administer a fair test.

Too many potential double answers, I am not even counting on these answer keys anymore. If more of the answers were clean cut, like 24/26 people picked A, I would feel a whole lot better. I could have anywhere from 18-31 wrong? Too much of a range there. All that tells me is that I am close...

I can't use this key because the aided is question is wrong and 100 is not C and I could imagine what else.

How do you lose if a question is dropped? I believe the question is still factored in the final score. It shows up on the answer key as:
A/B/C/D as the correct answer. If this is the case you can only gain if you originally had it wrong and you don't lose.
E D said
Nov 4, 2011
Yes , pfb that is correct. If you had it right you will not gain anything. Same for double answers. There were 2 or 3 double answers on Sgt test and I didn't pick up any points because I had the original right answer. (Not that I'm complaining). But that's how it works. So if you had D and that was the original answer when the tentative key comes out on the 28th and then they decide it's a screwed up question, they will accept A/b/c/d, you will not pick up an extra point off that.

I did my run, and JST twice, that's 1 extra point for me, plus some seniority, all I want is my 70, plus hopefully I pick up a few on protests. I think this list is gonna be very small

16 wrong if I got all of the double right, and 26 wrong if I got all the double wrong.
Putting the answer key to the side though, with all of the potential double answers on that "new" master key using 25 keys, there are 13 P.G. questions that I KNOW I got wrong. I would conservatively give myself 2 wrong on the in-basket, and that only leaves me with 15 questions wiggle room with the management/leadership style questions and I'm sure there are some more PG questions that I got wrong along the way. If I pass, it will be by a very small margin.

34 wrong. When i took and passed the sgt exam about 6 years ago, I utilized one of these "highly credible composite answer keys". According to it, I got a 72. When i got the official score, it was an 86. WOW, was I surprised. I am kinda hoping for the same thing. I will take half, ie my score here is 66. I need to pick up 4 points, but ideally would love to pick up 7. Hey, my 66 could really be a 56. You never know...............
68
I've been playing around with numbers and came up with a decent formula to calculate a potential scoring range.
26 wrong (74)
12 (conservative low number) doubles/potential throwaways
