With all that's going on with the FDNY extrance exams being racist, there is a strong possibility that this test was given in a such a manner that it will allow them to promoted whomever they feel like?

Actually, I think this is going to be one of the less diverse lists. When this list comes out and it is not as diverse as this department would like they will have a big lawsuit on their hands.

I believe the NYPD is more diverse than ever; These type of exams like the one given for the Lieutenants doesn't favor any minority groups whatsoever.
The exam given is based on critical thinking philosophies and are very akin IQ exams or in which the minority population has never faired as well as their caucasian counterparts.
I believe it was Shea from the key who said that actual MOS write these exams but I am very doubtful, atleast in this case.
Was anyone around for the wacky Sergeants exam in 2001?
Mike Yanosik from Fast Track sent out an email expressing his disgust and disappointment at this exam and says we should protest every question , but where does that leave us. I have very short term memory lol.

I agree. We should all protest this exam. I understand that City and the Department want to promote only the best but come on!,...
