This is an open forum that we can all use to help each other and we are appreciative of those who do that. Just seems that you are a self-proclaimed expert in the field of NYPD promotional testing. Can you back any of that up??? Just wanna make sure you're not making it up as you go along, like most here do. Care to share how many times you had to take each test to get promoted, and to what rank, and what list #'s ???? Just asking - some of your advice over the years has been slightly flawed in my humble opinion. JUST ASKING.........

I was a little skeptical at first about her revelations but she has been pretty accurate as of late (Last 6 months or so). Im assuming she is someone who has waited since 2006 to get promoted to Lt and has mastered the fine art of who to ask for information about her promotion, how the list is moving, when to expect movement, and what resources to turn to in order to be in the know. Not to mention I suspect she works at P.A.R.T.S or in the academy somewhere..

I find it interesting that you have someone here who actually gives a damn about getting you guys some valid information (all of which has been correct). Someone who actually gives a damn about how you study, someone who helps get you access to study material (free of charge I might add)..........and you call me out ike you have (ON ALL THREADS).........don't listen to me if you dont want to, no one has to listen to me. The information she is giving out needs to be qualified by her expertise (which she NOT have). I also find it hard to believe that someone in her position would unethically compromise that position......you should only know the real story. If you're not willing to come clean "Brat" and honestly present yourself, then we can all consider this thread officially closed. I'm now done....thank you for letting me vent and express my 1st Amendment right.

I've been reading this forum since I've taken and failed the 2008 exam. Brat's info has been spot on and very helpful. It helped get an extra month in on studying for the LT test and whether or not to take that vacation pick before BMOC. I remember seeing some post by Zoomaster who was saying some wacky stuff like 100% chance the 2009 list will be killed in March and no more hiring for the 2011 back at the beginning of the year. or some rasict post by another dick HairlessApe. Who cares who her identity is her consistency and accuracy over the past 2 years speaks for it's self.

Things have been dormant on the Lt link, so im putting in my. 02. Its a forum, so anyone can post whatever dumb comment or question they have, if you don't like it, ignore it. With that said, these dumb questions and comments and what ifs are typical amongst a lot of cops (bosses included). I am truly amazed and sometimes dumbfounded by the behavior of adults given the authority to carry a gun. I don't know brat from a whole in the wall. I've seen her post info and when the time came, the info panned out, she's clearly in a spot where people are in the know, good for her. But let's not forget how this job is, sometimes change at the last minute, its just how this job is.

Ok MN50, agree with you in most of what your saying, but theres a majority of us on here who look for inside info. Out of that group, that had gotten into bmoc, or SLC from july till end of october, and recieved some info from brats posts, and from there kicked it into gear, PRIOR to bmoc, or SLC, then YES, she has helped us pass the test or whatever, cause i know personaly speaking, i wasnt even gonna mention the patrol guide till january, figuring id be made in feb 2012.. Now theres a slight chance i could be on a list in 2013 as a Lt...doubt it, but im sure a few of us on here will pass. So THANK YOU BRAT!!
