Just curious to see how everyone's studying is going? I'm getting on average 4 hours a day and I feel pretty good at this point. Guys in my building are saying they are lucky to get 2 hours a day and that they are not retaining anything. I also see that anyone with over 10 yrs in my building is not taking the test. I guess the no chart days killed it for a lot of people and maybe that's why fewer people filed for the exam.

waaaaaay more filed for the sgts exam than last time and less filed for the Lt than last time. I am surprised by that. I still think minus the chart days it has to be a better deal.

4 hours a day? must be nice, wish i had the hours in a day to do that much, but i don't know if the brain could handle it. Plus, life, house, kids, work dont allow for all of that. good 4 u, see u at the top of the list.....

Im sure platoon commander meetings, Lt's being made to go to blaststat, graffitistat, and whatever other stats there are, have dissuaded many from taking the test

Or maybe the fact that this department is just short in manpower and don't have as many eligibles as they did 5 years ago for the rank of LT.

two hours before work, an hour at work and an hour after work. One good thing about midnights.
