Anybody have any news on a possible October class??

its uaually every other month.....so there will probably be a class in Nov.

Heard through a source from OMAP that the class will probably go in the end of OCT for graduation a week before Thanksgiving.

Seems about right.

At this pace of a class every other month the list should be exhausted in June 2010 or so...

Heard from a source that CARB is interviewing people over the next couple of weeks in the 450 range.

What is CARB?

Career Advancement Review Board, if you ever get jammed up, and your about to get promoted, you'll go in front of a bunch of chiefs. They will ask you questions about your entire career and what have you learned from getting jammed up. If they like you and your answers, you'll get promoted. If they don't you'll see them again in a few months for the same thing, until you either get promoted or your name is DOA on the list.

CARB is not something you want to be going to...

if one was supposed to go to carb and is like 6 names away....would he have went already?

I have just submited my college transcrit to ETU. what's the next process how can I find out if I am eligible for promotion who can I call?

You can access a nypd computer go to intranet. then look for education unit, make an account and you can check it on your own, takes like ten mintues. Tells you your test and list number, and how many credits you have and is easy to set up.  Good luck

I went department Internet I could see my list # and my credits also I just want to now if I have to call any one else and find out if I am good to go. Like one of my buddytold me call uniform promotion I don't if that's a good idea let me now if it will help me thanks bro

If it shows your exam, list, and credits, i dont see why you would have to call anyone to see if youre good to go. Thats the same info that they would have anyway.

does anyone have anything about an oct class going in?

My LT gave a i hour speech at BMOC yesterday and she asked about a Nov. class.  They told her YES a class was going in. 

My question is when are we starting....last week of Oct or Monday Nov. 2nd ?

a buddy of mine who have a source in bmoc said there will be an october class.

Does that mean  Monday October 26th   or  Monday November 2nd ?

That means Monday, September 28 or Monday, October 5. Hope it's true. Anyone heard anything about class in October?

I was told today the class will go in in November.

I also heard November.

The word is out the class might not be promoted tuesday the 29th!!!!!!

If there is no promotion on tuesday, when are they getting promoted?

If there is no promotions on tuesday Sept 29th, will it delay the next BMOC from going in?   That sux! 

The promotion is still on for tuesday and we were told a november class will be going in.

Any word on when BMOC will start?

I was told the next BMOC may start on Oct 26 or Nov 2. This info is not written in stone and I was not told how many may be going in, but the info is from a friend at uniformed promotions that is going to keep me updated.
