For all of those that are waiting for the next BMOC class, does anybody have suggestions on what to do to get ready before it starts and during BMOC?

I suggest you enjoy your last few months as a cop.
And what do you mean 'to get ready for bmoc?' Its not like you need to start doing sit ups and running before the academy...

Speaking of bmoc, what does it entail?
Is it just four weeks of classroom lectures?

no, you can not get COBRA trained in BMOC.........besides, the initial COBRA 2 day training is on overtime, ask for it when you get to your command

What time does the off. notf. come down? When we do get it, what's the chances of the bosses given us 28's for Thu./Fri ? I don't know about you guys but once I get that notf. I'm not going to want to go into the pct. for the next 2 days and answer job after job. My command sucks when it comes to that and I can see my capt. saying "sorry i'm low on man power, however if you bring me in 10 movers i'll consider lost time.

heres a suggestion...when your a new sgt...be a sgt and supervise police officers...dont be a super cop and go way the f*&% out of your way to make a collar when no one is looking...tell driver to leave 61 open to the squad....end of story...
one of those five year wonders from this last bmoc has successfully failed one of the most sacred rules.(today).. rule number#1 for new sgts...dont look if no ones looking...

Remember you'll have a full 5 days of work during BMOC, if they don't give you days off, tell them you'll put in for OT; they will def give you the days off
