Can anyone adivise the pros / cons of the dental, medical prescriptions, or any other benefits the SBA has, over the PBA or visa versa?

yea i can answer that. the sba plan sucks!! when it comes to prescriptions name brands ARE NOT COVERED! only generics! birth control is not covered. that $70 a pop. co payments are $15. my wife works for the city and her health benefits are much better then mine! i feel like switching over to hers.

SBA dental sucks if you use your own dentist cause the reimbursement pricing pays much less than pba.
and prescription plan ---now you must ask doctor to give you generic for prescription, pharmacist will provide it for you anyways...you are responsible for 10% of the cost....Not sure what happens if generic brand is not available because the SBA changed their rules recently.

Prescriptions, because you pay 10% of the cost it can at times be cheaper. I've had stuff I paid less then a dollar for. But most stuff you'll pay more for. There is some stuff not covered, like Nexium, but they will pay the full amount for Priolsec OTC. Some other stuff they use a step program where you have to try certain drugs before they will pay for the better stuff. If you have something that you're currently taking and is not covered call them and see if they will grandfather you in for the prescription.
Dental sucks, my teeth are going to make me go broke.
Annuity, they have a different program the money you have is transferred automatically and you have to move it into the new funds with the new program.

Had some work done by a dentist in the health plex plan that the sba covers in full and had to pay over a thousand dollars out of pocket. The benefits only get worse as you move up the promotion ladder.

Here's birth control for ya, bag it, forget about doing it or be smart enough to pull out in time. That will save you $ 70.

Is there anything the SBA benefits do cover 100% or adequately as compared to PBA?
