Again my command gets NO new sgt's. This idoitic plan of Cheif Gianelli to kick all these Sgt's out of their pct. details and put them back on patrol surely is not working.  They get sent back to patrol, transfer out or retire and we still get no new sgt's.  Meanwhile myself and the rest of the Sgt's in my command are consistently bouncing around to different tours each week for patrol coverage. OMAP as NO idea how to allocate personnel.  Things ran much better when the Boroughs told them how many they needed and the Borough then placed the resources where needed.  Maybe Chief, you should kick out half the bosses in those useless 1PP details. Once I get promoted and get some time in rank, I'm surely gonna find a unit to go to.  You have to love to be sh*tted on to stay in a precinct.  No bargin at all.

How many picks per cop?

I wish I had those QN picks on my dream sheet.  Like puzzlepalace said, I dont understand how pct's are still shorthanded with sgt's, especially with positions being eliminated, I know a couple of weeks ago there was a meeting at 1pp to eliminate the asst ICO spot, one more sgt on patrol to help out at least.  it makes you wonder what omap is thinking when they allocate personnel, my command is on the dream sheet, but every platoon has enough sgt's and every detail is filled and no one is retiring anytime soon.

that's a crappy list....only 2 spots in all of MS.  Is it hard to get to transit?

If you see a command listed 1x or 2x or 3x that's how many spots are available.  You could have 5 PO's pick the same command but if there is only 1 spot then only 1 PO gets it. 

MN50, that's exactly what I'm talking about.  Your command is full and is on the sheet, while my command has lost 3 sgt's in the past two months with no replacements.  OMAP is clueless. Well enjoy it! At least you can get some days off once in a while.

Well it seems like my cmd needs two sgts (psa8) ... I wont say its a bad choice its a very nasty cmd (community center in throggs neck pjs) there is no sgt lounge u shall be dinning with ur fellow cops. Ummmm its not a busy house and there is alot of OT to go around.
