Why do you think that they are holding off making the 08 list and promoting from it? Its obvious there is no way that they can drag the 07 list out until the 20 hit five in 01/09, so why put in a class of 20? Why not make the 46 elegible guys, activate the 08 list and get this going. I know, I know have patience, enjoy your time as a cop, your time will come, yadayadayada...

Besides for the 20 who still need time, the others either declined the position or may have discipline issues they need to take care of. If there would have been more eligible people for this class, then they would be going in. It's only a matter of time before the 08 list comes out.

I know for a fact that the 08 list is all ready. They know your list number but its all as DCAS puts it "confidential."

Yeah, been trying through sources for months to find out the actual number of people who passed, DCAS still did not know until a week ago and told its confidential. Been told by the person that when DCAS says that the list is done but can not release it or list # until its certified by the Dept.
