When did the list come out for the 2007 SGTs exam? Was it September? October?

If theres a new SGT exam in January of 2009 shouldnt the info for it be released soon? Isnt there a 6 month mandatory notification for a promotion exam?

The official list for the 2007 SGTs exam came out in December of 2007. I know because i am on it.

How long does it normally take for dcas to comprise the list and do they send you your official score before the list is comprised

You get your score after the list comes out.

Anyone know when the retro money is coming?

some people say that the dept has 90dys before penalties im not sure how true that is

Called up the PBA office today, still no word when retro is coming.

I heard that retro is comming july 25th. Don't know how true is it though.

Uniform allowance is in DEC. Holiday pay is in Jan. and July. I agree the city will try giving the retro-money during the issuance of the holiday pay in an effort to recoup some of their money. The more money is on one check the higher the tax consequence. Everyone should be in Deferred compensation and when the time comes, up the contrition to 25%. The PBA should give us a schedule soon, detailing when the retro money is coming.

The bright side is when you get over taxed which we do already with a bi weekly pay day you will get it all back at the end of the year. The best thing you can do to optimize your retro is raise your deductions federal and state to 9 each and put more in your 457. Talk you your accountant. That way your money makes you money instead of the gov't getting to keep it for a year interest free.

August 8th is the retro check date.

I was informed by my delegate, who is a very reliable source that our raise will start on the pay day of july 25 and our retro will be in one check for salary and overtime on august 8th
