Just wanted to be the one to start this topic because I know we've thought about it. I know it's a long way away and probably longer than we think but just wanted to throw it out there. Want to start studying and be ready. Ha-Ha! LOL. Hey, I can't seem to post the smiley faces!!!

Since the city just cut the LT allocations by 100 and they are over quota by quite a few.I would not start studying just yet.Not to mention the fact that our list has not even been promulgated yet.It could be at least 3 years before the city considers giving another test. There are almost 1300 people waiting.I would wait until the finest comes doown announcing the test.That usually gives you 7 months.Plenty of time....Timing is everything......Forgot to mention over 700 LTS WITH OVER 20 YEARS ON ..It is the most desired job in the sinking ship known as the NYPD....
