wewereinbacklog, I conceede that they may have been looking for the answer that you got. However I don't see how they can exclude the answer I got. They way they worded the question makes my answer just as valid. Regarding the the Sgt to be commended I aslo kept the same philosophy because I don't believe that getting the average per squad is a very useful analysis. You could very easily have a squad that has a higher average because one person is pulling the weight while the other members of the squad are goofing off. Should that Sgt recieve commendation? Now that scenario is also possilbe doing it the way I did but in my way at least you have some objective measuring stick which is the total number of summonses. That is a real number that is verifiable, the average is not a real number, it is a derrived number that doesn't necessarily relate to what is actually going on in the squad.
I understand ur point but determining productivity by just the total number of summonses didn't make sense for that question because some squads had more officers than others. If they all had d same amount of cops then yes but they didn't that's d reason why they included d data on cops per squad.

Yes those are right. You had to divide the total number of summons by the number of cops. Gives you summons per cop. Then B3 was most productive each month. that is how you got it. It was a bit time consuming, and I agree vague but you do this a platoon commander for traffic stat.

I don't recall d first answer being B1 and B3. To me d first question was d easiest because u used d compstat formula to figure out d percentage increase. 2 squads had d same number of summonses issued in d question but d divisor was d previous month summonse tally and both where different producing a different percentage.

Can anyone explain the second and third question regarding the summonses?
What I determined was that they were looking for averages. You can have less officers in a squad with lessor amount of total summonses, but if each officer issues more than the other squads, then they are essentially more productive, no? Well that racked by brain and I wasted time on the math.
Any other thoughts?

This is another question that was WRITTEN POORLY! Choice A: "I have a letter in my personnel folder signed by my CO." Okay, great. But WHY?... (because of the nature of my assignment??? Never stated!) This is a half-complete answer at best. Plus, just because the cop "says he has a letter in his folder" on test day does not hold enough water, it must actually be so. For the choice to be good, it should have stated, 'the officer ACTUALLY has a letter in his personal folder from his CO, due to the NATURE OF HIS ASSIGNMENT.' Maybe it was enough info for those who chose this answer. Definitely open to interpretation at the least.
Now to Choice B: Female MOS has a *SMALL* brown hair clip and she is a brunette. PG 203-07 states verbatim: "Necessary hair holding devices (such as but not limited to rubber bands, clips, barrettes, pins) when used, must be unadorned and plain, and be transparent or similar to the color of the hair...Hair scarves, beads, bows, large...elastic bands, *LARGE* plastic clips, or other ornamental items are prohibited." As per 203-07, only LARGE plastic clips are prohibited. So a SMALL plastic clip (as stated in choice B) that is similar to the hair color (brown clip = brunette) and is a "necessary hair holding device" would be okay as long as it is SMALL, not large. By strict interpretation of the PG, this answer is WITHIN DEPARTMENT GUIDELINES, PERIOD. Therefore anyone who picked the hair clip choice should send in their protests now because choice B is 100% correct!
Long story short, whoever chose A or B should both get this one right.

I consolidated the 21 lists that NYG37 posted, plus the two that he didn't include and two others that someone mailed me. This is a new master list based off of 25 answer keys. I included the number of answers that gave each question the majority next to each letter. If it was close, I put the next closest answer and if it was within 1 or 2, I made it a double answer (yes, I have no life).

Why is question 100 such a "swing" answer?? Does anyone remember what it was????? Based on the latest answer key Im getting a 69...if question 100 swings toward "A" then I'll get a 70.

I think thats d question in which d xo needed a report done yesterday and asked which is d most correct. i believe the first answer choice was establish a group of ur best workers monitor d project closely and authorize overtime to complete it on time. i chose a as my answer.

WOw, acoording to the above key Im at 71 (with a few double answers). If I pass even with a just 70 I would be shocked as can be.

sounds good to me lol. what abt answer choice C for Q100? any1 remembers?

I understand ur point but determining productivity by just the total number of summonses didn't make sense for that question because some squads had more officers than others. If they all had d same amount of cops then yes but they didn't that's d reason why they included d data on cops per squad.
Yes those are right. You had to divide the total number of summons by the number of cops. Gives you summons per cop. Then B3 was most productive each month. that is how you got it. It was a bit time consuming, and I agree vague but you do this a platoon commander for traffic stat.

I didnt' get two squads for d first question.
I am not messing with you, those were the anwsers
I don't recall d first answer being B1 and B3. To me d first question was d easiest because u used d compstat formula to figure out d percentage increase. 2 squads had d same number of summonses issued in d question but d divisor was d previous month summonse tally and both where different producing a different percentage.
Can anyone explain the second and third question regarding the summonses?
What I determined was that they were looking for averages. You can have less officers in a squad with lessor amount of total summonses, but if each officer issues more than the other squads, then they are essentially more productive, no? Well that racked by brain and I wasted time on the math.
Any other thoughts?
lol.........thanks
We can all go back and forth here, we will have to wait for the proposed anwser key, The key on here is off and who knows how they are going to do the judgment questions. We all in the same boat here, PROTEST!!!
That's what I did, last two answers were squad B3 for me.
Same for me.
Whoever answered B for question 52 (Hair clip) and got it wrong, protest.
sgt1701...........it is a double answer.......does not matter if you put a or b....protest.......both are right
Thanks! I'm just glad I'm not the only one who feels this was a bad question.
