Commissioner of dcas has a meeting planned for this Thursday to discuss what happened on this exam... This is unheard of and never happened prior to this..... This just be serious. There are serious complaints on this exam in hearing and it seems above my pay grade to know exactly. Good luck to all. The end is almost near.

Wow I can't believe everything that I am reading on here. You guys are a bunch of whiners and crybabies. The In-Basket was too hard..... The In-Basket was too long.... Why were there 44 pages?..... STFU. The 2003 Exam went up to Item DD. That's 30 Separate Items for all you math geniuses. Well over 44 pages. The 2011 Exam went up to Item Y and was over 40 pages. That exam had 1600 passers. You are supposed to decipher what you need and don't need from all the crap that they give you. That is part of being a supervisor is to make a decision based on all the information you have.
As far as the questions not being like what the schools gave you, did you really think you were going to walk in there and say "Hey there is The Key question that they gave us in week 8!" or "Look, it's the Elite question that was in week 12!"? For some of you that have never taken an exam before I'm afraid that is what you thought. They are called exam PREPARATION schools. They are just supposed to prepare you for the exam. They are not exactly like what you are going to see on the exam. And trust me, nobody writing the exam is "working" for or against the schools. You guys need to relax.

If you're not here to discuss the questions on this test then please **** off. That includes the trolls upset about their lieutenant exam making the false accusations. Everyone reading this thread needs to understand that these wild accusations aren't from anyone who took this test, they're trolls who have an axe to grind with RS because of how they were treated during the lawsuit for the lieutenant exam. I don't know what the **** that has to do with cops taking a sergeant test, but whatever.
There was no collusion, there weren't different tests. It was just a hard exam.

For the girl with the broken ankle... IAB investigates broken BONES. There are 206 bones in the human body and none of them are name the ankle bone. The ankle is a joint which connects the foot to the shin. If it said she fell and sustained a broken elbow it wouldn't even make sense. Broken ankle is a laments term, if they wanted to be specific and go for a broken bone it should've said femur bone and or "a bone" located in her foot, shin, leg wherever.

If you guys need to protest the question about the hospitalized prisoner and who can't interview him/her:::
210-02 step 27 item j states: supervising officer of other city department if prisoner is an employee of that department.
If you chose the NYC transit supervisor and we wind up getting that wrong you can fight this question MTA is not a city agency. And NYC transit is not DOT it's MTA. You can also print out from Wikipedia the list of all city agencies. MTA is private. Here is the Wikipedia link en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_New_York_City_agencies
It could be in our favor for us who picked this answer or it might be a trick question for the others who picked the embassy officer or vice or versa. I think it's a valid double answer. Give it a shot.

In this case it would likely be 2 "correct" answers rather than a complete toss of the question. For an entire question to be tossed there has to be no right answer or an error in the question/procedure itself.

It it's a throw out all who got it wrong pick up a point who ever got it right nothing changes.
If it'a a double answer who ever answered the two choices pick up the point, if your choice is not one of the double answers then nothing changes you don't gain a point.
