Yep, I've said for some time that once we catch up with the vacancies, it'll revert to the usual 180-200 yearly average. That first year was an anomaly to fill the void after the 2015 debacle. Going forward, we'll be seeing the usual numbers.
What about the Capt's list?Any predictions there because that list affects everyone else...
I don't see a reason why we'd deviate from historical averages (for every rank). I'm not sure if someone tallied them up in your thread, but whatever that number is, I suspect that will continue.
Can you post the historical average for each rank??
I don't have that handy. I know LT is 180-200, and that's from the Department's own numbers in 2017. Can't speak for the rest.

Better news this time around. As of January 2, there are 15 lieutenant vacancies (which includes allotment for LCD/LSA), and an additional 19 on terminal leave.

Someone in current Sgts Bmoc need to ask Lt NG if there are any rumors of next Lts bmoc. Leadership unit is usually notified in advance to prepare.

One of the guys I worked with is in BMOC now. I had him ask LT NG again. The LT originally said there would be a class but is now saying that there is not class in Feb it is looking more like a March 5th promotion.

There is no February promotion. The tentative date of February 25th has now been moved to Tuesday March 5th.

When it does happen, its usually one of two things: funding (less likely) or the PCs schedule has a known conflict (more likely).

If its avoidable or a known conflict, theyll adjust it. That whole tentative list was built around his schedule. I recall Bratton had missed one or two because of illness.

Who cares about the rumors if your under 800 your good unfortunately I was in the mid 800s I was told by a good source start studying for the next one an hour a day on you meal.

You mean you dont about narco26? Not only is he in the 800s on the LTs list, hes also in the 1600s on the Sgts list. Hes been told that he should start studying again for BOTH exams. Btw the line studying an hour a day on your meal period he stole from yanosik. narco Is a troll.

Since Feb 18 till today 6 LTs put in their papers with retirement dates at the end of March...good bunch for just 10days

Just keep in mind that while the order is dated 2/28, the effective retirement date seems to be in late December (right column).
