For those who got A for Question 25 here's some advice for protest:
In 205-46 it CLEARLY states:
To afford confidentiality to members of the service who utilize this program, the Counseling Services Unit is located in a non-Department facility located at: 189 Montague Street, 7th Floor, Brooklyn, New York 11201, telephone number: (718) 834-8433, Monday through Friday between0700-1800 hours. During non-business hours the Counseling Services Unit may be contacted through the Sick Desk Supervisor, at: (718) 760-7606.
Okay - then in the Training Sgt's duties it CLEARLY states:
3. MUST dedicate a minimum of four (4) hours and thirty (30) minutes of each tour to patrol related functions, e.g., meal relief for desk officer and/or patrol supervisor, investigating communications, etc.
4. Conduct training sessions for the three (3) platoons as follows:
a. 1st and 2nd Platoons - 0720 to 0745 hours
b. 3rd Platoon - 1515 to 1535 hours.
Question? Can anyone tell me where EXACTLY does it state the hours of each platoon in the Patrol Guide? Also, if the 1st Platoon does end before 07:00 then what are they doing from that time to 07:20 before being trained by the Training Sgt? I hope that they're putting in for OT cuz if not they're working for free.
I only state this cuz someone told me that that question was based on the 1st Platoon scenario. Was there an exact time in the scenario? If if did state 1st Platoon and not the time then the that particular member had at least 20 + minutes to talk with the Sgt about his PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION problem. And if you look at when the Counseling Service Unit can be contacted it's at 07:00 BY TELEPHONE. That's 20 minutes before TRAINING.
Let me know what you think.
Good luck to EVERYONE!

In regards to what fighting wrote, that applies to two questions, reading the actual procedure though and trying to remember the actual wording in the question, I don't recall there being a time factor as to when the Sergeant was supposed to make this notification or if they just assumed we would think immediately because of the platoon it occurred on. Does anyone recall #82 in regards to this if they asked, who she so and so notify now/immediately/before tour is over or anything like that? If not, then there are definitely two answers for that question. What is the actual procedure to protest, photocopy p.g. #, type out on a word doc what they ask and just mail it in?

very funny, i didnt say it doesnt apply to them, i ment that since the x.o. is the subject u can tell ur c.o. instead of faxing iab i believe a choice was either that or tell the highest ranking which could be the c.o.

Iluvlaurie. I believe you got #27 wrong because it is wrong on the answer key. The answer is what the PG clearly states you must do in that situation when in resident counties. And for all the stretchers, it clearly said where he was and everyone knew it did. Not one person answered that question thinking the guy was in California, be real. One guy came up with that excuse and now everyone who got it wrong is jumping on board. Just don't think its going to fly. This is all under the assumption that 27 was in fact in regards to above, if not disregard.

For anyone that is interested, Sodomy was changed by Interim Order 43 of 2007 and the DNA question comes from Interim Order 45 of 2005.

I truly believe that continuous even question was easy. Sodomy or Criminal Sexual Act - does not make a difference. But as I said before any question that gets thrown out will benefit everyone.

It wont because if you got it right the first time and others have it wrong, it makes you have an extra point above the people who got it wrong. If it gets thrown out, its all even and though you got it right, everyone else gets it right. Now that means the one with the wrong one and gets thrown out can have 1 extra point more than the one who got it right.

You are wrong. Everyone benefits from a question that is thrown out. Here is why:
There are total 100 questions - 1 point for each question. if let's say 5 questions gets thrown out, then there are 95 questions and each question now is not 1 point but is 1.05. So do the math: people who got 67 now pass. If a question get thrown out every other question then is more than 1 point.

that is horse****. Dont get their hopes up. If you got the question wrong you get an extra point, if you got it right, you get dick. They do not pass you with a 67 unless you pick up 3 protest questions. There is no such thing as it being graded as 95 questions with each being worth 1.5.....

I am just going by what I heard from last test takers. Logically, if the question is thrown out and some people get a point and others don't is a ground for a major law suite. I may be wrong, so if anyone has different info please post it. And I will edit my post in order not to confuse anyone.

it is THIS key that was posted in this forum that the people in the pcts are passing around. however, with all the arguing and people changing the answers and saying this and that, that key is probably only like 90% accurate....just everyone wait for the DCAS key to come out on Feb 25th.

YET ANOTHER IDIOT POSTING SHYTE WHEN HE/SHE HAS NO CLUE. LETS MAKE THIS SIMPLE FOR THIS KNOW IT ALL. THEY DONT THROW OUT QUESTIONS AND REDUCE THE NUMBER OF QUESTIONS. THEY SIMPLY MAKE THE ANSWER ABCD. THEREFORE THOSE WHO GOT IT WRONG GET IT RIGHT AND THOSE WHO GOT IT RIGHT GET NOTHING. IF YOU WERE ON THE JOB LONGER THAN 3 YEARS YOU'D KNOW THAT RETARD.
For those who got A for Question 25 here's some advice for protest:
