in my opinion .. with no SGT Bmoc Schedule for next month, its safe to assume the next Bmoc will be around the end of February or beginning of March.. meaning promotions should be schedule for the end of March, as a result,, the list will come out sometime next month !!! ... that way they will have the first group from this list ready for promotions at the end of March !! ..
Lt's and Captains are promoted up front. So if their going for a March Bmocc that means they will get promoted at the end of February.

Dude, I seriously want to dress up in a Batman Suit, find DCAS people and hurt them. Badly. One by one. Break their legs. Then break their kneecaps. Then elbows. Then cut off every DCAS male employee's fingers, put them in the cells, make them watch porn 24/7 and watch them suffer from inability to jerk off!!!!

So it takes over a week to type the list in order? Must be 2,400 names!
Also this is BS because they released 09 Sgt Exam alphabetically, I specifically remember this.

Im wrong with a lot of things I see. I don't post everything for said reasons. I try to verify anything I post especially if I label it as fact. Ive heard 205 number.....I posted 296 number...are they wrong? probably! but notice its always what I heard....only thing I ever knew as FACT was when the tvb was ending. I was correct on that! so your info is welcomed, but if you are not willing to accept that most things you post are subject ot change or are just wrong, then you will continue to get the same reactions on here. I have never ever seen anyone post info about the list begin released and have it be accurate weeks prior.

Well that's just it that 205 number is the raw passers. No one can pin point the list size with the changes. Maybe they don't need to announce a test ASAP because of the changes we aren't aware of.

I don't believe the number 205...I actually believe ondeair with the passers...Even if hes wrong...I don't see a list of 205 being more then 1 or 2 changes. I just don't see 1 to 2 changes for this test. I don't see 11..but I don't see 1 either. This was A HARD TEST....and to me..it was decently written. So we know we have a small list...how small is anyones guess. The final list should reflect a HARD test + a decently written test. That means a smaller list then normal. Now, you have outside factors. IE- does the job want a larger list?? does the job want more diversity??? does the job not want to give another test in a year??? these CAN NOT AND WILL NOT BE ANSWERED BY ANYONE on here. So playing the numbers game means nothing. Too much that we can not answer. You can argue with me about this test all you want, obviously if im wrong and someone said the test was not decently written then that will increase the list size.

NONE. and yes i know the numbers of the diversity of the 208--NOT 205 which is wrong---and the guy who gave me that info said he doesnt think the city is letting that fly. is it fact the city wont---NO. but lets be realistic, esp with this admin. closer to the 17th if i hear anything i ll post.

Not that it was intentional, but from my own personal observations of passers from multiple commands, they all happen to be of same race, also not one female. Maybe it's a coincidence, or maybe ondeeair is right.

Had 1000 people passed then you can get a "representative sampling" but when a couple hundreds BARELY passed i don't see how you expect anything but a diverse group. One thing stands out,...a lot of people on top of previous lists passed thjngs test. With the standard deviation being 20 points less. All thanks to the inbasket and the O.O.s

True, you look at the four people who passed from our old command and three of them were towards the top of the 2011 Sergeant Exam. All of them scored above an 80 on that test (I think) and all below an 80 on this one. The other four people I know who passed this debacle all did very well on the 2011 Sergeant List. One scored in the mid 90's on that one, though he got a 72 on this one.

How many people filled out that part of the test? It was voluntary. Of those who did many of filled it out honestly? How do build a diverse list when your data is so flawed?
The diversity problem with our lists is more class based than anything anyway It's Patrol Scum vs Everybody Else. The more real police work you do, the greater the disadvantage. I believe the 2011 test was an example of what happens when they try to address it. They based half of it on subjective and random material to delete the advantage of traditional preparation.
They can't even write a traditional test without ****ing it up much write one designed to achieve a desired result.

True, six out of the eight people I know who passed are in inside gigs, and the two guys on patrol are both in hook houses that aren't too busy.
The majority of people who passed the test without scamming are likely the top rung of the 2011 Sergeant List. There are only a few people who failed (or didn't take) the 2011 Lieutenant Exam and somehow managed to pass this one.

I don't think it makes a great difference to be on an inside gig or patrol. I think it's all about the person studying. I was in a BZ house when I took my test and making a minimum of 40 hours a month in OT and I worked 4×12 collaring at LEAST once a week . I did some studying at work, but most of my studying took place at home and I scored in the mid 80's. So whether you're inside or outside it's all on the person studying.
DOA said

You said they were on patrol too which is an important distinction. It's not based whether you work in a precinct. The School Safety, Training and even Impact Sgts enjoy the same advantages as anyone in an outside detail (more in many cases). I'm not judging them. I'm in a detail myself. I just think, if the job wants to address bias in the testing process, that's where it needs to begin. Many details are filled by affiliation. It's just human nature. People on patrol tend to have the least affiliations (a.k.a hooks) so the anti-patrol bias over time manifests itself as gender and race bias too.
