These are the ones I protested: - the question with the scaffolding. I argued that although there were sustained injuries they didn't mention what kind. Also in the guide it says notify agency direct Dept of buildings but directly underneath it says in parenthesis see Additional Data Statement. So when it refers you there it says you can contact Dept Of Buildings through OEM watch command 24/7
- the family offense questioned the proposed answer was the ex boyfriend who stole the victims vehicle and called her saying he has it and is not giving it back. I picked the granddaughter who took $1000 from her grandfather. The others was cousin intents to brake bone and hits cousin with bat breaking his leg. And the other was ex boyfriend who unlawfully entered house and stoled his exs tablet. Their answer to me sounds like unauthorized use of vehicle. Never said how he got the car and he told his ex he had her car and wasn't giving it back so she knew he had it to me how he stoled it did he have a key??? Doesn't say
- the fire question the second supervisor the answer was step 22 in the procedure and I picked step 23 to me if there are two steps written verbatim then they are both right. In the question it never asked for a next step I made sure to look for that wording.
- the question about breaking in to an ACME public corporation commercial Van and stealing a computer from the Van and the computer was owned by the company. Their answer was Burglary I fought that one. I read the penal for Burglary several times looking for this and it's no where in there. Only vehicle considered for Burglary is a trailer a movable home. I picked grand larceny because the computer belongs to a public corporation and now they have illegal access to records from the public I believe I read that in the penal law for grand larceny. But you can also argue also if you chose petit larceny because the computer was worth $1000.
- the diplomat question the proposed answer was not detain and verify from Intell. I chose arrest transport to SH pending verification from Intell. I'm the guide my argument is that the very first thing it says to take necessary action to protect life and property. Their answer is wrong she's on the floor bleeding he has blood in his hands and she says to you help he's going to kill me so you not going to do something detain him until. So just let her keep getting beat in front of you now so everyone can see you not doing anything to help her. They played with my morals with this question. I fought it.
- the girl that went missing from school 15 year old the answer was missing juvi and 61. I fought that because in the stem of the question it said she left at 1000 in good health and mental health so she was not sick going home sick then she was cutting. So youth referral should have been filled out. But I might not have a chance because the locked us in 207 missings youth referral is not mentioned but I gave it a shot. Like why put the whole fact that she cut school. They are ass holes.
- there was another one but I don't remember it I will try and remember and let you know. Please pray for me to pass. I have 11 years on last test I got a 67 and wound up with a 68 I had my first child I was working and taking care of him. This time 69 now with two babies and working. It's super hard on us parents with young children but the job doesn't understand that. Good luck everyone!!

Bookworm I put the same answers as you for the burglary truck , the fire , and the family offense . I'm hoping we can pick up either the fire or the truck . I think there is a fair shot we will . The family offense GLA is a grand larceny which is a family offense - don't see them changing that one . i was bummed about that question the night of the exam , it was one of the first ones I looked up ..one of the hardest questions on the exam . Dept of buildings most people I know did put the same answer as you and got that wrong .. I could see your point for protesting that one and hope you pick it up . The diplomat is 100% wrong though Lol. I would stay positive and feel like I'm in a good position if I was you because you are right in the mix . Most people I spoke to so far were in the 50s

Just wanted to point out it will be in the instructions when you write out the protest they want to know why your answer the one you chose is as good as or better than the one they chose. Just so you know cause we have to articulate ourselves well so our protests can stand. They want you to state sources and quote as well. You can submit the materials the sources at the protest or mail it in within 30 days. I would suggest that you bring your sources with you because you can't take down notes and you will not remember which question refers to what once you leave the facility. I have 4 questions that I have to mail sources for out of the 7 I protested but four is easier to remember than 10. So just prepare yourselves and bring your sources.

I read that question 12 times, it said the a driver got rear ended by a second car (which turned out to be stolen), whose driver fled. The driver of the first car said he was good to go, but when the cops looked at the damage they saw his "wheel broke off the axel of the other car". I was stuck trying to decide if the stolen car's axel was broken, or if the first car's wheel was broken off. So I'm going to protest HOW that question was written, hopefully make it a double answer or throw out the entire question altogether.

@ Bookwork re the Burglary question. It is a burglary. Don't waste your time on that, the answer comes from the CCRSRG:
the question about breaking in to an ACME public corporation commercial Van and stealing a computer from the Van and the computer was owned by the company. But you can also argue also if you chose petit larceny because the computer was worth $1000
