Many passovers will activate for this March class due to contract raise

Not entirely sure they all have 5 years in March though.

Out of the 32 passovers, 2 retired so we're really down to 30.
Out of 30, around 20-25 have over 5 years or are LSA/LCD.
I could realistically see the next 2 classes being all pass-overs.

You have to consider how many of those have a college degree also.

I wish I had that information.
There's a handful of passovers due to being jammed up, and I'm sure a few that don't have the educational requirements. I could also see most LSA/LCDs passing on the promotion as well (they're all in good units).

I dont think there will be as much of an impact as people think. The only reason somone would give up LSA or LT Commander would be if they wanted to go higher than Captain. Id say just about all LSAs and LT Cmdrs are in good gigs making OT so why leave? It wouldnt benefit you to take the rank at that point.

I doubt it! Most if not all salary deferrals made it into this class. There's about 20 pass-overs altogether.
-5 or 6 passovers are jam-ups
-7 are LSA/LCDS in good gigs (probably not taking the promotion)
-The other 7-8 might be deferrals for other reasons other than the money
The next class may have a few passovers, but we should be back to normal after this promotion.

Well theres 4 months left of promotions. The list is at 244 so if they keep doing 10 a clip with passovers its not completely impossible. Could reach 290s by years end as long as they dont skip months.

It's not an easy transition. It's a tough rank, schedule sucks, and the expectations are unrealistic.

Finest out, looks like 257 is up next. Also 269 has already been promoted months ago.

Inching closer and closer to my lifelong dream of getting promoted on a Friday and retiring on Monday.

@63ASAP Why take the promotion if you not going to enjoy the rank, and the amazing things that come with it.
Can we get an updated list, thanks!
