Can someone answer this for me please. Complete non-sense CCRB came down as substantiated about a month ago, the libtards are recommending a B cd. Waiting on the final word from the PCs office. Will this hold me up from getting promoted? Its not charges.

From my understanding if its settled then it wont. If you fight it to the trial room then yes. and I believe the only issue is if you choose to take the CD its all in the paperwork and how fast its processed
full disclaimer this is my view from observing other ppl in that situation. I cannot say Ive experienced it myself. Hopefully someone else can clarify

A Schedule "B" CD will not hold you up UNLESS they hit you with 10 days or you decide to fight it (which I don't recommend), and it gets bumped up to Charges & Specs.
I was promoted from cop to Sgt with a schedule "B" pending for some bullshit IAB case, which immediately got adjudicated after I got promoted to Sgt. As long as you don't lose 10 days or above, you should be fine.

Charges and Specs you have to get Carb'ed, unless its been a long time since you received those charges.

That's not true. I think they choose who to carb on a case by case basis, the 10 day thing doesn't matter. Fortunately or unfortunately, this comes from personal experience.

CARB will skip you two classes because, Ill keep my opinion to myself on this one, but regardless of how long its been, if you were suspended/modifiedyoull go in front of the board, whether it was 5,10,15 years ago. I truly believe there needs to be change in how CARB handles things, all it took was someone to step up to the Counseling Unit & shit changed, one lawsuit & CARB will change too. No Cop should have to be skipped, unless their CARB, within reason, believe MOS needs to be reevaluated.

Ahhh okay! Good to know. I know the pending schedule "B" doesn't matter from experience. The process is a bit unclear, they should be more transparent about what gets you skipped and what does not, but like you said, it's a case by case basis.

Ive heard closer to what Truthseeker said but no one has confirmed anything yet Ive also heard 180 the numbers seem to be all over the place tbh I think next week will bring a more accurate estimate I think it will most likely be 150-180 If the goal is to have the list finished by June which I heard from a couple different people is true that anything over 100 would make sense

Not Necessarily because they already started negotiating their next contract since they are out of contract since last month now so some may wait for that if there is another raise to be had and it takes a few months to settle could mean more retro for them.

Everyone is reaching for any bit of news to try to justify the fact (we all already know) the whole list is being made. People are going to retire. Positions need filling. New positions will open up. Just sit back & wait for your name to get called. Doesnt matter anymore at this point. Even if they made the whole list by June/July. Rookie Sgts are going to be Rookies for quite some time.

Definitely not just you, its been extremely quiet in each forum for a supposed class on the 25th. Maybe the ppl that were in the proverbial know got promoted and no longer have the access they once did.

I feel like that might be the issue. Cops who had sources at 1PP got promoted and are too busy learning to be a new boss and forgot about us bottom of the list folk. I did speak to someone who has a source at 1PP, they said promotions are on for March 25th but dont have final numbers yet. Take it for what its worth. Good luck to all.

Im Still hearing around 200 for 25th I think once the list starts to get actually put together well hear more. I know for a fact know that they were told to clear the next 400 names on the list to be eligible to promote so thats always a good sign of classes to come.
