it wasn't a lvl 1 or 2 stop. the cop FORCIBLY TERRY STOPPED this guy for a violation which was wrong and the cop needs retraining. so it gets annotated that the cop screwed up in the "follow-up actions", signed and submitted into the database. and cop gets retrained.
I'd agree, but the supervisor wrote that the stop was justified, made no note about retraining/discipline, and no mention that it was a bad stop. So, he improperly completed the form himself. Line 30 says "complete and sign". He didn't complete the form as required. In any case, I think this has protest potential.
I hope we have a lot of passing scores, people sacrificed a lot of time preparing for this exam. protest what you can even if you see a passing score at the protest session lets help each other out.
Trust me, I know! I waited nearly 2.5 years at a chance for vindication from the 2015 debacle. I want every point I can get. I just cant believe my confirmed wrong answers are some of the ground balls. I did the same thing on my 2011 Sergeant and told myself never again...and here I did it again. Problem is, we're trained to spot tricks and over time you learn to see them everywhere, even if they aren't.
Did you fail again
Not this time! Unless, of course, my estimates are way off in which case, FML.

After instructing the cop to correct the stop report, he/she would have to physically take report back and do it before boss signs it, does that sound right? There was no mention of that occurring.

It isnt filled out correctly. The supervisor checked that it was a legit stop and it wasnt.

The question regarding proper uniform. The answer was "No uniform attire in civilian clothes". I got it wrong bc I thought how the windbreaker is uniform attire and crime cops wear that in civilian clothes. In PG 204, it states "The nylon windbreaker will be worn by anticrime personnel while performing anticrime duty or by authorized specialized units at police incidents" In PG 202-25 Anticrime Officer - crime cops are in civilian clothes....
What do you guys think?" Protestable?

I'm not gonna say what the actual question was because people are nervous about the makeup, but that was not the wording of the question. The correct answer was word for word out of the procedure. Trust me, give up on that protest. I got that question wrong also, thats why I know, I looked it up immediately upon getting home from the test.

If you take a look at the Identity Theft classification chart in the Crime Complaint Reference Guide, it's line "C". It states:
Personal Identification Information used to obtain a credit card for which the victim did not apply. Credit card sent outside NYC, No charges were made in NYC and property delivered in NYC
then...
CPSP in the NYC precinct where the property was delivered.

It's tough since we don't know how the writers interpreted questions. I think the lost shield has protest potential, in that you can argue the DO, Occurrence Pct. is responsible for the paperwork. The UPS/USPS mistake on the 61 may or may not have an effect on the answer as well. The signing the bad 250 is also arguable, if it turns out the answer was sign it, due to a number of factors already discussed here. Ultimately, I don't see much else with a lot of weight. Overall I think it was well written, but we'll have to see the proposed answers in a few weeks.

2015 LT EXAM....Utter F*cking DISATER of an exam. Over 1300 protests were submitted. NOT ONE THROWOUT. I have no faith in the review board.

The process to protest a question is impossible. Can't do it at the actual session because you'd need the entire patrol guide with you to submit a section as evidence. Can't write them at home and submit in the mail because you'd have to memorize all the question numbers you wanna protest and the answer choice you put and the correct answer choice. What a beaurocratic disaster

When I went to the 2015 protest they had the patrol guide sections available for your use to submit with your protests. And there is definitely less chatter about this test.

I did the 2013 sgt protest and we had to bring all supporting materials with us. And the yellow notice even states that we will not allowed to make any copies while at the protest. Some procedures I know I am going to protest so I will bring them, but anything that I didn't expect I'm def out of luck.

I got it wrong myself. From the NYS Penal Law, Assault 2, subsection 6 (120.05):
6. In the course of and in furtherance of the commission or attempted
commission of a felony, other than a felony defined in article one
hundred thirty which requires corroboration for conviction, or of
immediate flight therefrom, he, or another participant if there be any,
causes physical injury to a person other than one of the participants;
or

That's irrelevant, because it wasn't a continuous event question. It was a Penal Law question. All it did was reference the offense in the previous question and ask what the charge would be. They didn't mess that up at all.
