From what I gather. It appears we have 61 holdovers now.

61? Only passovers left should be jammies and voluntary passovers, no? 61 seems high.

OMG! I can't believe how close I came to getting promoted this time around. Please keep us posted on the possibility of a Sept class. Again Congratulations all.

My precinct didn't have it either. Maybe they just send it to the commands of the people who are on it.

Does anybody know if an open IAB case could be the cause of somebody to get passed over? If so what happens next?

It's a long waiting game. Eventually they go in front of a board and the power that be decide their fate and how long they will be held and **** like that.

Yes. An open case where you are the subject can hold you over. It depends on the allegations and whether or not you are likely to get discipline as a result of said case. Then, depending on the type of discipline (A vs. B vs. Charges & Specs) will determine if you will have to go in front of CARB or simply wait until the case is closed in order to get promoted.

the list is currently at 710 and any one left is jammed up I believe. What's promoted as a total number isn't the list number. pass overs for any reason besides not having enough time are not guaranteed and will trickle in with being promoted. So in my opinion the list can be considered caught up and actually at 710 as long as all time restricted cops are through now. And no one here knows if there will be a December class. There has been one the last few years but who knows. nothing is guaranteed.

Hello everyone! Just wanna drop a little helpful info. Currently the list number is at 662 as of July 28th i believe. My source.. DCAS at 212 669-1357. But I'm sure you guys already know this just passing along some info. My list # is 878. Any ideas on there being a December class? Christmas may push next class to January I'm thinking. Thanks.

No one in this department knows if there is going to be a class in December. They don't schedule that far ahead. The best you could do is speculate based on the vacancy numbers. The good news is every promotion above opens a spot and it trickles down.

It depends. If the CDs are old, then no. How long ago did you receive them? Have you ever gotten Charges? Then it may hold you up.
