If so, then wouldn't they need to thrown a huge BMOC class in early December in order to get a bunch of sergeants for all the rookies?

Is there anyone that knows how this generally works around academy graduation time?

I think there were 5 promoted.

I also saw that a few of them got adjudicated with 30 and a year. If im not mistaken, you can not get promoted on any type of disciplinary probation.

There was also one on there that wasnt even on the 2009 list...I dont know what that was all about.

She was away on military duty when the 2009 Sgt exam was given. She was allowed to take the exam a few months ago and promoted based on her list#.

Can't be too accurate, I'm passed over and I'm not on the updated list of passovers.

Without getting too personal, did they tell you why you were passed over or are they keeping it a mystery to you?

I Pm'd him about that...He removed a few people that recently got dismissal probation or collared (dwi type stuff)

They told me that myself along with a few people still have holds, and we must come b4 the board. I've been off performance monitoring since last November, should of been in the graduating class on oct.28 I'm thinking they would have notified me prior but I was cleared educationally that same week that bmoc class was notified. Guess it was my fault also for procrastinating.

Ah, I would say you were probably passed over because the education hold probably didn't come off in time, and also they probably want you to go before the board because you were on performance monitoring in the last year.

I agree. I hope there is a December class, if not January. At this point I just want to move on to the next part of my career. Good luck to all of you.

From the remaining 110 on the list or passovers, Any names there that are not gonna get promoted cause of jamup or investigation or something longterm????

I took a few off for that reason. Long term jam ups...for the most part all the rest are for shootings, or other CCrb related nonsense/ media sensitive stuff. At this point it is irrelevant if they stay up or not. There are not enough for more than2 large classes anyhow.

As soon as I hear something about the next class I'll post. I have not heard a peep. I guess worst case scenario is that they skip February in order to clear as many people as possible that got passed over. The vacancies are there, so I don't think it will be much longer. Like someone else posted, if not in 2 weeks it will be In 6. So dot your I's and cross your t's.

As someone stated earlier..773 is not already a sgt. It was her sister that was promoted previously. 54 left.
