Yes, DCAS established this right away instead of publishing it. The list was actually complete on 12/20 and for some reason it took 8 days to be made public. Typical. Established means the 4 year clock is already ticking. The expiration date for the exam is 12/20/2027.
that is correct. Hopefully this gets fix.

Wasnt it made known, which my original belief was this as well, that the list ends 4 years from first promotion? So establish date means nothings.

Also, clearly the rumors we were hearing were correct, the list WAS established & WAS coming down & never did for whatever reason.

Typically, DCAS publishes a list and then establishes the list just prior to the first promotion. They did not do that this time and chose to establish the list immediately. Same thing happened with the 2022 Captain exam. Expiration date for our exam is 12/20/2027. Says it on opendata.

People will not be ending their careers because of All Out. Stop with this nonsense. It's part of the job for quite a bit now. It's the easiest detail around for a boss, especially a Lt. Grow a pair.

All out has been shifted to complete straight time. Do the math. Hundreds of Lts have well over 20 along with Sgts and Dets. Stay and take a hit on the pension? Your obviously clueless!

Agreed, this will absolutely result in more people leaving, DB in particular.

Getting travel time for something you do at most once a week? Yes, better retire. Weirdo.

Your definitely delusional if you believe any rank wants to or is happy with doing allout atleast once a week. Look at people in your unit including yourself. Tell me your good with it. Your probably a whiner haha.
