Reach out to your union. If you have the educational requirements and they passed you over then its looks like you have an IAB investigation thats holding you up. The ICO wouldnt necessairly know or have access to that info. When they look to clear people they usually call the unit that has your case and ask if your good to be cleared. Depending on seriousness of the case or person that makes that decision they can decide to hold you up. The union is your best bet of finding out whats going on.

Excelsior college is the way I went. They accepted every single academy credit. When I go on the intranet now it says I have 97 college credits. Best 300 bucks I ever spent. Get it done and avoid the headache down the road

Anyone have any info on getting charges while on promotion list? How long does it usually take or what the process is?

They have to be signed off by PC. Even after you plea or trial ends, that can still take upwards of 6 months.

Once your charges are settled (trial or plea) you will be scheduled to appear before the Chiefs (usually 3, 3 star borough chiefs a deputy commissioner and inspector and probably a 1 star chief from personnel). Usually you will know within a day or so if you will go to bemoc or will have to return to the board. If they want you to return to carb you will have to wait about 6 months. The PC or First dep has the final say whether or not they agree with the combined decision of the board.
