Same here, did someone here mention that they put it up a couple of weeks prior to actual list being published?

I heard day 1 and 2 both over 10 throwouts.
from a very, very good source and i cant say where because itll be obvious and theyll know who told me.

would updated score be posted first under "1" Multiple Choice Test or should one expect final score be already posted under "2" Performance and Seniority Test?
MuhlikCritty said

Guys just remember, each version of test hasnt different amount of throwouts, there may be x amount total but day 1 session 1 might be only 7.

With that many throwouts/double answers, are they still going to curve/scale the tests?
El Norte said

So youre telling me that essentially giving four tests with different number off throw outs was not actually a fair way to administer an exam, wow who would have thought?
Spanish mama said

So theoretically, someone who passed with raw score could be surpassed by a failure who got the test with more throw outs. Typical NYC everything is backwards

With this many Throw outs the list can shift considerably for a lot of people.

If thats the case and I end up on the bottom of the list Im tapping out and retiring. A final FU from the job. I hit 20 in January and was banking on doing 25 if I had a decent list number. At a 74 (I never have luck with throw outs) Ill be lost number 1400 lol

No at a 74 youll be more than fine with the curve you will be around 80 minimum before Throwouts

I believe this is correct if you got a descent score and 74 on this test is way more than descent you should be fine when is all said and done. I believe that if throw outs are high some will pick up a bunch and their score will significantly change. Thats where that half a point will really come in handy.

What makes you think youll be at the bottom with a 74 considering its pretty well known a shit ton of people failed ?
Your entitled to the curve and throwouts also. Your in a great spot to be in a good position on the list . Most guys in this forum actually failed and are banking on that curve and throwouts ?

Im all for the guys and gals at a 65 to get a break but for someone with a 65(with curve, throw outs, seniority, jst) to end up with and 85-90 after the dust settles is bananas. Ill come back with something Monday, at least my time on is good for something

They went to the same procedures with very slight question/choice variations.
But dont tell that to the day 2 people. They really believe they didnt have an advantage.

Getting upset at free points gained from a curve is one thing but throwouts are are given for badly written questions.
The protest process adjusts the answer key to its final version that it shouldve been on test day.
If someone goes from failing to passing with just the throwouts then that's where they shouldve been to begin with, so there's no reason to upset at that process or then skipping you.
Now being skipped by curve is a whole other conversation and legitimate gripe.

It is you will be fine. When you have more failures than passers of course they will scew the rumors to help them out. As you can see we have a lot of failures.
When you have those that barely pass of course they will Feel this way and make comments Like that. if you got a phenomenal score you will be ok, if you think you are getting passed over by someone who failed then maybe your score wasnt as phenomenal as you think.

that list is filled with jam ups, quitters, and already promoted... you'll never get more than one or two a promo if even that until it expires...
the job is low on sergeants and lieutenants... i don't care that the "numbers" are. We all know how the "numbers" work on this job. 14 LT in a boro, 4 in a PCT... makes sense
