After this class I'm also less than 25 away. I spoke to someone at the palace and I was told my expected promo date is 8/29, but that was last week.

After Mond I will also b less than 20 names away and not sure if i continue to read and waste valuable time. Anyone else in the know hear anything about 1 more class before this Sept Captains test??

Same here, I m still studying. What is really disappointing is that the test is in the middle of the month. I am trying not to be anxious but it will be pretty messed up if our group goes in right after the test. Maybe I will submit my last reengineering suggestion!

I'd be shocked if they don't put in one more class before the capt test. That 8/29 rumor is most likely true

There is no way they are promoting Monday and then not again till after the test. I guarantee another class right before the test. And probably a big one.

In the past, when myself (when I used to have the access code) or any of the other guys have listed a negative number in regards to vacancies, as "-3" is listed above, it means that we are at -3 Lts as of today. So, there can be several more going out this month.

I would like his thinking if it was for july and not august. It just stinks that we are at the point with this list that we have to rely on captain promotions in order to get a class in. If we are relying on capt promotions then this list is going to continue to drag along, cuz we all know how infrequent capt promos are.

8 going out in august so then we are +1, then 9 in september makes us only at -8, so not enough for a class even by the end of septmeber then....

Don't forget to factor in any shift in Captains numbers. That may also effect our promotions. I have zero inside info, but I would venture a guess and say, there may be a class in early October due to people going out at the end of Sept once UNGA overtime has been performed. Fingers crossed!
